Investment Management Principles
Course Overview
Investment Management Principles (IMP) is a 5-Day series of masterclasses that synthesizes ley principles underlying the modern practice of investment management. It is aimed at participants who have had some foundation in the field whether in portfolio management, research, operations, risk and compliance, regulation or consulting. Through pre-readings, instructor-led sessions, case studies, discussion and group exercises, IMP Participants, will emerge with a deeper understanding of key investment management concepts, and an appreciation of their linkages, theoretical underpinnings and historical contexts. Most importantly, they will take away valuable guiding insights for immediate, practical application in their work, towards achieving and sustaining sound investment management practice and strong investment results. Each IMP class is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.
Participant Pre-Requisites
Some foundation in investment management concepts with a minimum of two years of work experience in a related area in practice, regulation or consulting
